Over fifty in peer reviewed journals, mainly in relation to cardiovascular

pathology.

ACADEMIC AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

I am an examiner for the Royal College of Pathologists in forensic pathology.

I am also an examiner for the Society of Apothecaries for the Diploma in Medical

Jurisprudence.

I have examined for other organisations including PhD theses.

My current research interests include sudden cardiac death and sudden death during restraint.

TEACHING

I am currently involved in teaching in a variety of institutions.I lecture both senior and junior police officers regarding scene examination and about forensic pathology in broad terms.I am involved in teaching medical students.I regularly participate in seminars in my speciality.

COURT EXPERIENCE

I am called as an expert witness on numerous occasions in relation to prosecution and defence cases in both fatal and non-fatal issues. This concerns both criminal and civil proceedings, including the family court.
