Penny Beddoes is in her 5th year at UCL medical school, and is hoping to pursue a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She became interested in the management of ectopic pregnancy after attending the course run by the foundation whilst on placement at Watford District General. Next year she is hoping to travel to India for an elective placement in O&G, followed by a trek to Everest basecamp.
Penny is a keen footballer, playing for the UCL medics 1st team and also enjoys running. She is hoping to run a half marathon in aid of the ectopic pregnancy foundation (once the football season ends and weekends are no longer match dominated!)
