My name is Chloe Parker and I’m a final year medical student studying at the University of Leeds. I have had a great interest in obstetrics and gynaecology throughout Medical school and I hope to continue this enthusiasm with a hope to continue this enthusiasm with a foundation year post in the field.
On placement at medical school, I first saw a woman with an ectopic pregnancy in in my 4th year. I was fascinated by how complicated it can be to diagnose, with a sometimes extremely vague picture. I was intrigued by the various ways to manage these woman and how each option could effect her as an individual.
When I was introduced to the Ectopic Pregnancy Foundation, I found the website provided great resources for both patients and professionals – as a medical student I personally found the MCQs informative and a great revision tool.
