A number of Registrars in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Watford General Hospital have written pieces for the website including the History of Lawson Tait, the first Gynaecologist in the United Kingdom to successfully operate on a woman with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy.

Chere Rene Lodge was consecrated on 7th June 1901 and is the medical lodge of Charing Cross Hospital and associated medical school. The Lodge holds regular meetings in St James in central London. The Masons are the second largest donators to charity in the United Kingdom .
