Dr Ronald J Joseph has been a key part of the ectopic pregnancy foundation for a number of years. He has used his considerable skills in IT in the smooth running of the website. Also he has written a very informative piece on chlamydia which has been well received on the website and contributed to the MCQ on the website. He has also been instrumental in establishing the Montgomery Irvine prize for Medical student at the University of the West Indies (UWI). This is to encourage medical students to increase their knowledge of the condition. This prize is awarded to the best essay on ectopic pregnancy and the winner receives $2000 TT dollars. Also he has lectured and taught hands on skills on a work shop previously run.
As an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist he has handled a number of cases laparoscopically and taught the junior registrars with these cases.
