2023 will be a challenging year for the Ectopic Pregnancy Foundation, particularly in terms of fundraising in these difficult times.
Below are some of the action points we will be looking at this year:
- We will be working with our accountants Hanbury & Co and will submit the accounts to the Charity Commission by the end of January
- We have established a new charity bank account with Natwest and will be working to develop our online banking
- We will be looking to appoint a search engine optimisation (SEO) agency to help identify patterns in our website traffic and develop a strategy with this data
- We are looking to appoint further trustees to include a lay member and patient advocate
- We also hope to appoint a patron for the Ectopic Pregnancy Foundation, possibly a sports figure such as one of the cycling gold medalists
- We will continue to post the monthly blog and encourage women to post their experiences of ectopic pregnancy on the website
- To increase the knowledge of ectopic pregnancy for medical students we will sponsor the Lawson Tait essay prize for final year medical students at Imperial College London
